Netscape 8.0 Released

Netscape has released the final version of its web browser - Netscape 8.0, which toggles between Internet Explorer and Firefox rendering engines to ensure compatibility and security requirements. The browser is based upon Firefox 1.0.3 and includes advanced features along with several custom enhancements such as integrated RSS feeds and Netscape portal content. It also integrates enhanced privacy features and an option to install from several toolbars. While, the IE's engine is included to provide better compatibility with websites that only support IE. The browser also includes several anti-phishing tools, along with a 'Trust Rating' system that serves as a warning system for users against dangerous websites. The trust rating system is possible due to Netscape blacklisting web sites, that might be potentially dangerous. The browser adjusts security and compatibility settings for every website that the user visits.
