BIRTHDAY MONTH

To day we get a Birthday treat from our friend's Abey and Vishnu, vishnu's birthday was on 23rd March and Abey's birthday is on April 2nd. All of our team get Fride Rise & Chicken. But Iam a vegitarian(Brahmin) so I get ice cream(corneto) and Sprite. April 3rd is my birthday and April 7 is our friend Arun's birthday. So we have to treat them on April 5th. Most of my friend's birthday is in these two months March and April. April 7th is my friend Raji's birthday, April 20-Chippy's, 21................ This is the first time Iam giving a birthday treat to my friends because up to +2 I studied in Government school,there is no such programss. The maximum is one or two choclates. Iam busy with uploading my new website www.arunvishnu.co.nr 90% of work is completed. But i found some problem in viewing my site in Firefox, the browser's other than IE, also some problem with netstat code. So iam trying to solve that problem. Today I send an article "The Art Of Blogging" to our college magazine. Enikke Urakkam varunnu. So thats all 4 today

Processor at 3.8GHz may mark the end of Intel's speed race. As expected, Intel has introduced a 3.8GHz Pentium 4 processor in what could represent the end of an era for the chip maker.

The Pentium 4 570 processor at 3.8GHz will have the fastest clock speed of any processor available from Intel for an indefinite period. Intel has decided to cancel a planned 4GHz Pentium 4 processor and improve the performance of its desktop chips by adding cache memory.

Intel originally designed the Pentium 4 processor to run at faster and faster clock speeds and for years planned its marketing campaigns around those increases in clock speed. However, this year the company realized that the engineering resources required to eke out additional speed gains could be put to better use. The most recent Pentium 4 processors consume a great deal of power and can produce excessive heat within a PC, requiring additional testing and validation before they can be released.

Linux Vs MS Windows

LINUX vs MS WINDOWS

I am not a Microsoft geek, interested in Open source. But since know what is Linux and what is Open Source I have a question in my mind.The question is "developers from all over the world and many other companies are developing the Linux and the Windows is developed by a limited number of developers in Microsoft. But Windows is easy to use than Linux, and installation of programs and hardware's are easy in Windows than Linux. Why this? why the Linux developers unable to create a easy user interface (for installation of programs and hardware's) like Windows?"

I used different Linux's that is RH8, RH9,SUSE, Knoppix, PCQ Linux, Ubuntu etc and finally I am using Fedora Core 2. There is a good change in every new Linux. Now only I able to play mp3's in a installed version of Linux. But my modem is not detected & installation of MPlayer to watch movie's was a failure. But I am trying. Also I am trying do my programming (c, c++ & java) in Linux. One day I can do it.

I know so many people using only Linux in there system and they can watch movie's, use internet, write cd's etc. But there is so many peoples like me, using Windows and Linux in the system and using windows for main purposes like using internet, programming gaming, watching movie's and other purposes.

But I know Linux will solve the above problems and become popular in every field. So I am not ready to leave it. I will try to do my Mini project and Main project in Linux. So for that I have to study Java and how to do java programs in Linux.

After 2 week's

HI all, After a long time i am back to write in my blog. The gap is because of the problem in my bsnl network. For 2 week the net will not continue more than 2min. So it is very difficult to write here. Now the problem is solved. I installed Fedora core 2 and now iam playing with it. I can play mp3s. Also today i installed Wine to run windows applications in linux. It is working smoothly for some applications. I tried winamp, nero, realplayer, ms office, irfan view, mspaint, winzip, winrar.. Irfan view, Winzip, winrar are working smpoothly, mspaint and winamp worked only once and now it showing errors. Others(realplayer, ms office, bs player etc) are not worked. Now iam going to try Photoshop 7. Iam also successed to mount my ntfs and fat32 partitions. So my next aim is to configure my internal modem and install video players to watch movies and also i want to know how to make and comblie c/c++ programs. We celebrated our College day and arts festival on march 7th and 8th. And we are waiting for our s3 results. Iam scared about maths because iam very weak in maths. We also joined in Energy Conservation Club which started in our college in last moth. Our University exams will be starts on april. But no time to complete the sylabus in the college. So we have to work very hard. I changed my websit's(www.geocities.com/arunmvishnu) appearance and also iam uploading the photos of my friends, family members and relatives. Also uploading the data structure's algorithms and programs. That's all 4 today.
